Starting Small
We always talk about starting. Starting something new, something that will make us a better person. Something that will make us happy but do we do it?
Most of the time, we don’t.
Why not?
Because it takes work to do so.
Why change our routine we are currently set in to make something complicated and out of wack? Why should you start a new career when you already have one, even though it doesn’t make you happy?
We set goals for ourselves but the most important things are the steps we have to take to achieve those goals. Even if they are baby steps, they will ultimately help you in the long run.
I started a writing and workout schedule recently that I hope will get my life back on track. Not only will this help me with my writing, it will also help me be healthy again, something I’ve been wanting to do but haven’t.
Ever since I started this schedule a few months ago, I have been writing everyday and running at least three times a week. I just made a simple schedule which helped set a deadline for my writing and I downloaded a “Couch to 5K” app on my iPhone that helped me with my running.
It’s not that hard.
We just make everything more complicated than it should be.
