My Writing Muscle Atrophied…

I used to write so much that my hands and fingers would hurt. I would start writing and the words would come naturally even if I was writing something uninteresting for work or school.

Now, it takes me a while (after wallowing in self-doubt) to punch out a few sentences.

I don’t believe it’s “writer’s block” because my writing muscle has atrophied over the last few months as I have been less and less creative. Blame it on work or blame it on the stress but I am struggling just to get through this short blog.

To try to regain my “writing bearings” once again, I am going back to what I did before and write 500–1000 words a day (via Morning Pages), no matter what. I may not be the greatest writer in the world but I vow to the creative writer once again.
