I Love This F*****g World Cup!
This World Cup has been insane so far. I honestly can’t even tell who will win each game because of how unpredictable they are.
And this is a good thing because it harbors competition.
I wouldn’t want to see a team equivalent to the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers meet in the Finals three years in the row.
Don’t get me wrong, they are the two best teams in the NBA right now and they deserve all the accolades but it does get stale after a while.
Germany and Argentina were the heavy favorites coming into this World Cup and they were in the Finals four years ago but they might not even make it out of the first round.
It’s crazy to even think about that because of how good these teams are on paper.
This is the magic of the beautiful game. It can bring you joy and it can certainly also bring you heartbreak.
There’s about three weeks worth of games left and I am going to savor every moment because this could be the best World Cup to date.
